Don't sure it is fit in this forum, but I'll give it a shot.

I was just wondering if there are people who are the same as me about this.

I love plots/stories in games/anime/manga and the like. I love them so much that I always making up my own plots and stories.

I don't remember when it all started, but I know that nowadays I come with at least 3 different plot ideas each day. I just can't turn off my mind .

When I have nothing to do or don't have anything serious to think about, I starting up making a new plot or continue one of the previous ones.
I never let my brain a break...
As I now play a lot of games, I started up making ideas for gameplays as well.

Even when I go to sleep, I lay in bed for something like 2 hours before I actually fall asleep. So while I am at it, I always making up some new ideas or trying to improve my previous ones. That as well maybe the reason it takes me a lot of time to fall asleep. But I don't know...

Does anybody else endlessly making up ideas about something and feels he just can't turn off his mind?

Of course. I've been brainstorming and thinking up two particular stories since I was in elementary school.

Granted the stories were pretty primitive back then, but I've revamped them like ten times in my head since then. It's something I've always dreamed about doing; making my stories into books, tv series, games, etc. Maybe someday I will, until then I just compile my stories in my head and keep them as reminders of something I've done with my time since I was little. :)

This used to happen to me a lot when I was in high school and I was really into writing fanfiction.

I even took a spare book to school to write down all my ideas.

When I was meant to be doing work I would write in this book and never got caught because it looked like I was working. XD

It doesn't happen to much anymore, but it always happens to Steve.

He stays up every night thinking about inventions and businesses he'd like to start, or even what he wants to make for dinner one night.

This happened two nights ago. He was lying in bed and got up around 12am to write down a recipe he came up with that he thought sounded good and would like to try.

Yesterday we went and bought the ingredients and it tasted really nice.

He even has 5 washing machines in the shed because of an experiment he's been working on for over a year now. XD

So there's a person who can't switch his brain off. XD

I'm really into game making programs and RPG Maker for PS1, and I'm constantly coming up with new ideas for game maker, and storyline progression and plot twists on my RPG Maker games. Its like, when I'm not doing anything, my mind is in high gear trying to come up with new ideas. I've always been into almost any type of game, and I even remember when I was 12 or so trying to hybridize Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon TCG with my brothers.

When I was 16, my brothers and I collaborated to create a Legend of Zelda based board game/strategy RPG using a mutilated d20 system. We called it "Hyrulean War," and used mostly monsters and created stats for them, special attacks, and field bonuses for being on certain terrains. If I had the patience and the copyright permissions I might still be able to make a decent computer game of it.

My mind has always been active, and I've always had a creative spark, even though my artistic talent has never been able to express it.

I want to be a writer, who doesnt lol! But my problem is the inability to actual finish a story because I have so many ideas coming at me all at once. I have notebooks full of characters, plots, dialogue, but nothing has EVER actually been completed. Its such a pain, but in a way it can be good cause you wont suffer from writers block. But yeah, if you want to be a writer, its a GIANT pain lol.
