Just found out today that Elizabeth Taylor died of congestive heart failure. She was 79.

This really came as a shock to me. Me and my sister are huge classic film fans and she was one of my favorite actresses from the era. It's sad to see her go.

My prayers go out to her family and friends. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.

I read this on IMDb earlier. I know she had been ill for years so this isn't really a surprise. It's always sad to see a classic star go though. She lived to be 79 though so she at least had a full life.

I've only seen a few of her films but I thought she was a good actress and she was quite beautiful as well.
