Manual. The only electric I ever used barely shaved at all. Besides, the feeling of a really smooth shave after using a manual razor is awesome.

Well, seeing as how I'm a mechanical engineer, I have to go with manual. :ryan: On top of that, I dropped electrical engineering as a major in favor of mechanical.

Electrical is the way of the future as technology advances, but no matter what kind of system it is, there will always be a mechanical backup. Even for some systems, mechanical energy is prefered. Diagnosing problems with an electrical system takes a little longer, as opposed to a mechanical system where you can physically see the issue with the system.

As for shaving razors, manual all the way. You can't get nearly the closeness of shaving with an electric razor. Not to mention, it's tough to line up your sideburn or goatee with a circular shaped electric razor.

I had 1 electrical shaver when I was younger, it was pink :D But think it broke, then started using manual. It sucks doing manual, need to rebuy an electrical one. But the pink one was awesome :(

Manual.

My electric shaver always seemed to run out of battery power when I was half done >_<
Plus, manual shaving has more style, more accuracy and is smoother.
