[E3'2010] Square Enix's 'FF Tactics: The War of Lions' Coming to iPhone [6/15]

quare Enix has releveaed that they will be bringing Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of Lions to the iPhone and iPod Touch. The official release date is scheduled for September 15, 2010.

In 2007, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: The War of the Lions delivered a 1997 PlayStation® fan-favorite to a new generation of players on the PSP® (PlayStation Portable) system. Featuring an array of enhancements to the original FINAL FANTASY TACTICS, including breathtakingly beautiful CG movies, additional characters and jobs, and an all-new English translation, the critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: The War of the Lions now makes its way to iPhone® and iPod touch®. I absolutely love this game, but what is it...The FOURTH time this title was released? I mean, granted it's the PSP remake that's announced for the iPhone, but at the core the remake and the original weren't extremely different.

Yeah, I'm happy with my PS1 and PSP versions thank you very much

This is one of two iPhone/iTouch games they would be releasing just as SE hinted at earlier. I was kind of expecting a new game, but there's nothing wrong with Tactics.

Since I've never got it for PSP before (and with my PSP dead and buried), I may actually get this for my iTouch, although I'm not happy with the idea of compulsory touchscreen controls for it.
