Multiple Platforms Dragons Warrior 7, Breath Of Fire 3, or 4?

I am having a hard time deciding on which of these 3 games I should get first. I have great things about all of them, but I have never played any of them. I plan to eventually get them all anyway, but it will have to be over time. I can't afford to buy them all at once. So please give me your input. Thanks.

Dragon Warrior/Quest VII is great. Much more so if you're already familiar with the series. It can be a level grind at times and the story takes a while to pick up & it gets a bit repetitive at times, but in the end, I think it's a worthy game with a lot of character development & it's pretty long too (100+ hours easy).

Breath of Fire III is my favorite of the series, but I've only actually played 1-3. It has a colorful cast of characters (& one of my all-time favs, Rei) and an interesting enough BoF storyline. One of the best Dragon systems as well.

I'd go w/BoF3.

I couldn't get into BoF4, I just couldn't do it, BoF3 is great though, it's an excellent little game and a great story to boot. I'd go with that one, although tbf I haven't played that other game you mention, but BoF3 is epic

I had a feeling you wouldsay that about Dragon Warrior. I think I'll start with that one and then move on to the BOF 's. Thanks for the input guys.

I personally really like Breath Of Fire IV. I like the characters, although the Robot I never actually understood. Wtf?
I haven't played Dragon Warrior 7, but I did play some of the earlier ones and I prefer BoF4 over them. I don't know about 3, though.

Thanks Doaj. Like I said I'll probably start with Dragon Warrior, then get the BOF 3 & 4. Seeing as Dragon warrior is said to be 100+ hours guaranteed.
