Dragonquest VIII

Anyone played this game yet? I purchased it yesterday and so far im really enjoying it but the graphics could be a tad bit better but im not really complaining. The music goes really well with everything which is always a good thing. The gameplay itself including the battles is really fun, this game has loads of places to explore, the plains you walk on are really big and are good for exploration.

Dragon Quest VIII is a really great game.

Ya i nearly finished the game now, it's a really fun game because there's so many weapons and the alchemy pot and the bosses are a challenge and the battle system is classic, I like to enjoy a Traditional RPG every now and then!

So Dragon Quest VIII is a traditional RPG. I never knew that. I'm enjoying the game so far. I'm stuck in the Dark Ruins fighting Dohlmagus's beast form. It's getting annoying.

Yep, a traditional Japanese RPG. The series hasn't changed much since the first installments were released on the NES. Level5 did a lovely job with the graphics though, the world is simply amazing and no loading or excessive use of fog.
