Forbes reported that Dragon Quest IX is an exclusive game for the DS. Square-Enix has confirmed this and that it's in developement right now. Level 5 is the developer and the name of this game is DQ IX: Guard of the Starry Night. It is scheduled for release in Japan for 2007. No release window was said for North America.
