Dirge of Cerberus DoC - Movie or Game?

I don't know why, but I see DoC being a Movie and not a game. I think it would of worked easier because some people still arn't really sure of the story even though they've played the game. Anyway, I liked the story but the game play was a let down.

So... what do you think?

The story was explained perfectly as a game, it just wasn't a very good one.

Making this into a movie wouldn't have been a good idea as it would have been much longer than Advent Children and plus, we get the secret ending with the game.

:wink: I understood the game, but I've known people who have played it and are like "Vincent loved Lucrecia?"

I thought Vincent's story was good, yet not Hojo's and how he put himself into a network. That bit I'm still like WTH?! over.

I guess your right now I look at it but they could of shortened it. It wouldn't have been much longer, if longer at all.

As for the secret ending, maybe it could of been included? I don't know I'm just making excuses up. I just thought maybe it would have made a good movie seeing as the Game play was crap. =)

I think it was good as a game, even though it wasn't great compared to FFVII, I don't think it would've made much of a difference if it was a movie, there really wasn't alot of story to put as a movie anyway in my opinion.

If it were a movie, the flashbacks with Lucrecia might not have been so confusing =/ Having them all out of order like that really did have me confused about a good bit of the storyline.

That said, it wouldn't have been any better as a movie then it was as a game. The only plus, other than clearing up parts of the story, would be the loss of the crappy gameplay.

A movie would make more since, the gameplay suked in my opinion, they should have never made a shooter FF. I like the story alot so i guess thats why i would had perfered a movie over the game. Id enjoy it more not having to play through DOC to get parts of the storyline through the cutscenes.

I believe the story about Lucrecia and Vincent is really explained during the game, also it's better that it's game though it's not a very good game actually :/ making it to a movie would have been a problem since it will be way too long :/
