OMG! Guys, i really, really need your help.

Recently, i'm workin' on a new project and i'm havin' a hard time researchin' a type of art design or art work. And i need to figure it out as soon as possible cause i need to use it for my project.

Please clink on this link here!: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4..._Wang/demo.jpg

It's like Roman style? English style?

Please tell me! Wot's exactly this type of art work call? *Cry* Haha... Is there an exact word for it? Thanks!

Ow... Man... Please dun't get the wrong idea.

You see, i actually asked my teachers 'bout it already. They dun't know it either. I mean the exact word for it. All they can think of is either motif or slihouette only.

So anyone know wot's it exactly called? This type of artwork.

Please dun't get the wrong idea that i'm cheatin' my homework or anything. Geeez... Haha...

It's called a flourish, or flourishes. It's type of art form that takes it's ancestry from calligraphy, used in older (oollldd) books. It seems to be French-Italian, and it's probably a design around a bust portrait, a clump of text, or a book title. Atleast, that's what it was commonly used for. If you google 'flourishes' in the image section, you'll come up with more that look like this, but I can't be certain that this is the correct word, or even the correct origin. It just looks like what is on some of my antique French books, so I thought they were similar.

Hope this helps!
