Get lost in the abyss?

When you're playing Yugioh--err, Tetra Master, and you lose a card to someone that they stop using, is it gone forever? Does anyone know?

I wasn't really sure if this was a general discussion or a help topic. I mean I don't really need "help" with anything, but I'm just wondering how it works, or if anyone's ever gotten a card back after the person's stopped using it?

They should use it EVENTUALLY But if they dont, then you are screwed. You may have to get that card back some other way. I got back a card that I lost, I just had to beat that person like three times before they used it. And tetra master is no yugioh, Yu-gioh is BETTER :awesome:

I think I'm screwed. Here's what happened:

I was playing Kaiba Chef in a game of Duel Monsters--I mean, Tetra Master, and he ended up taking my Nymph after I lost. Two games later, I somehow lost Cactuar. So then he used both of them in the next match. I won and had to chose between the two, and so I went with Cactuar. But next game, he stopped using the Nymph. After that, she never showed back up.

So it just bothers me because, I'm like, it should still be programmed into his "deck", right? Like, the game should still "process" that he owns it. But instead, I feel like they just completely erase it.

I know the Nymph isn't that rare, and I have another one, but that's just what made me make this topic.

I know. It's just kind of funny to imagine Zidane as an obsessed Yugioh player.

Yugioh was way better. Now it's kind of lost on me. =[

As for Tetra Master, the game is a horribly addicting mini game at times. I hate it, because it's frustrating at times, but I can't help but "go another round" by the end of it.

i lost a major card the other day (by major not one really powerful but one I use alot)
lost a gimme cat with 7 arrows. 3p04 :\ did get an amazing card though invincible 6A57

Haha, same thing happened to me. I got an Antillion (I think that's the name) with every arrow, in addition to something even stronger (granted, the arrows sucked on it). Soo I had to end up keeping that file. It's okay though, 'cause the Nymph I got later was even better (I know she's not that strong, but it came in handy at the stage I was at, and just got me to think this topic up).

So I guess you can lose them though... Lol, that sucks, but it's fair.

I understand this whole "losing cards" thing, but, have you considered playing someone else, as the card you lost may be used by some other random character in the game, and there is no reason why you have lost the card forever, as someone may just happen to have the same card.

I've had that happen to me plenty of times before. I'll lose like three games in a row, then decide to hell with this and go play against someone else.

Fortunately for me, I know who has the cards I use, so I can just go back later and get them back.

Think the FF9 card mini-game is kinder that the FF8 one so you might be able to find your cards again, you know never thought about it much..

Hey maybe look up a FF9 walkthrough online on Google and maybe they one walkthrough might say expert advice about the cards or tips and tricks when playing..

Never liked Yugioh / gets beaten up by Yuigoh fans in the background //
=_=

That kinda defeats the purpose of this topic. I'm just wondering if you can lose a card to a person for good. Although I've long since figured as much out. It sucks.
