Althought I have got many SP the DMW isn't spinning.

Not spinning but still got SP?
Could be an accessory you equipped, I remember there being an accessory
That stops the DMW from spinning. >.>
Try changing your accessory's
Or give a list of the accessory's you have equipped.

You're either cursed or have the curse armlet on, those are the only things I can think of that stop the DMW

Those are the only things that stop the DMW from spinning bar SP being too low. So yeah, youve either been status affected with curse, or you got summat equipped that has curse, or there is an item you get quite late on that says something about having great benefits but with a curse.... read the item desctription of whatever you hasve equipped or just use a remedy
