I have read that in the game ( correct me if i'm wrong ) a few major things have been revealed
a past war of Caos and Cosmos
- Where Sephiroth committed suicide to avoid it
- Where Jecht was a cosmos warrior
- and Terra was a caos warrior

do you think they might make a game based on that storyline ?

I only know that it is related with FFI.

The events you mentioned happened in the war before the current one, this current one being the twelfth war. Dissidia's story is a cycle that begins again after the previous cycle ends. I doubt they will make a prequel based on the previous war.

dissidia isn't supposed to make sense. They may make another game with more ff characters, but don't expect any in depth story telling. If you want that with all the characters from different ff games, play KH.
