I got the game, I think, possibly first, and learned how to play properly. On to business.
~The Menu~
When you press new game, select a slot to save. Press SELECT to switch to English when you have to prompt your name, and enter it.
Then, the next thing will be "How much do you play?" , the first being not much and the last being a lot. Then, your Favourite Day. The day of the week you play the most. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I recommend Saturday (or Sunday).
Then the actual menu. Go to this site.
Q: What are the controls?
A: X makes you jump (You can jump many times in a row), if you press Triangle when a yellow arrow shows up, you climb the wall/glide/slide (on special tracks). R + █ = enter EX-Mode (see later). The other two controls, see below.
Q: How do I deal damage?? O button attacks but it doesn't deal any damage!!
A: The O button makes you increase what I like to call "the Hit meter", above the HP, shown in numbers. As you attack with O, the Hit meter increases. And when you press █, the amount of damage dealt is equal to the value of the Hit meter. Example: A has 100 Hit, B has 100 as well. A attacks B with O several times - A's Hit meter increases to 184, while B's Hit decreases to 89. Now, A attacks B with █. The hits preceding the actual attack do add to the Hit meter, so A has 216, B - 71. At the actual blow, A deals exactly 216 damage to B. Got it? Also, the correct term is "Brave Points".
Q: What is EX-Mode?
A: It has some effects. When you see "[R] + █" on the top-left corner of the screen, it means that you can activate EX.
A: When you successfully perform a █ attack, near the end a square will appear - press █ and you will perform an EX-Burst. This will allow you to do another damaging attack, plus the preceding hits. But you must mash the O button to do a better attack.

- Automaticly regenerates HP (like auto-regen in FF)
- Allows you to walk faster, and possibly build up your Hit meter faster.
