Well I saw no Thread on this when I searched it so I figured I'd make one. To start off that game is great. i like it mainly because of the weak plot and the strong battle elements it has.

What kind of games is this?
It's a strategy role-playing game made by Atlus Japan and USA. It's somewhat a funny/anime rpg to play. I loved part one of Disgaea, though I never tried part 2. Though, from what I know, it's a pretty good game because many gamers approve it (I think). 10/10 for me.....
Pros-
Reaching high levels like 9999 and funny dialog.
Cons-
Playing Continue + after beating the game 3 times already.

Yeah story isnt' realy all that amazing. They just make alotta jokes and some pop-culture references. But I think the level cap is a little high but it gives people to waste their lives on. I'm currently level 7459 with stored levels of 8056.

Nippon Ichi Software, actually. Atlus USA is just the American publisher.
And nobody forces you to spend that much time on a game. You could just play through the main story and do a few easy side maps, that's good for forty very enjoyable hours.
Disgaea 2 is a great sequel, I didn't think it was possible, but they really improved the gameplay. The new characters aren't as likable as Laharl, Flonne and Etna, but they do a good job nonetheless.
