was anyone a bit disappointed at the end?

i wait a long time for the FF games to come out because its the only one i can't beat uin a day and it keeps me interested for a while.

but just when i was towards the end of the hunts and beastiary perfection i beat the game unexpectedly. and i was hoping vayne would marvel up to the difficulty of the other final bosses but he didnt. gilgamesh was more difficult than Vayne and i killed him easily.

the reason why i look for games of difficulty like this is becuse all other games i can still maintain my active life but beat them in the day i get them.
 
I wasn't disappointed with the actual ending tbh, but I agree about Vayne's difficulty level. He was incredibly easy to beat. I don't understand really how anyone would have a problem defeating him unless they were ridiculously under leveled. I don't think Gilgamesh was a whole lot more difficult than Vayne, but I did have more of a problem with him.

The fight with Vayne sure looked effing fantastic but, yeah. You get my point.
 
Well concidering gilgamesh is an optional fight and it recommended at lv 60+ he's gonna be harder

What lv were you when you beat vayne?
i was lv 50 and he seemed pretty damaging to me :/

Have you tried omega mark 12 or yiazmaty yet?
they arent too easy (well they aren't difficult) but they should be a little harder at least
 
I just wish the final boss fight had a better motive behind than Vayne just wanting to die in the most fantastic way possible.
 
the poople i used on Vayne were my low levels, circa lvl 35

but on gilgamesh i used mostly my dream team of Ashe, Vaan and Basch who were all @ lvl 49

their weapons were okay
Vaan- Deathbringer
Ashe - diamons sword
Basch - Obelisk i think?

That might have something to do with it. When I beat Vayne here were my levels:

Balthier - 75
Basch - 75
Fran - 74
Vaan - 65
Penelo - 63
Ashe - 66
 
oh yeah you were a bit overlved i didnt lv up my 3 other characters so they stayed at lv 13

and raldois what was you hp?
if it was under 1500 you would die in 1 hit :/
Unless you had spells in your inventory which i didnt really lol
no bubble or bubble belt for me (when i fought vayne)
 
oh right cause i had like 2500 hp and no bubble spells until alot later in the game.
I never did any of the the hunts (apart from rogue tomato) until after pharos
 
Of course optional bosses are going to be tougher. So when you compare Gilgamesh's 2nd form (which was level 70 btw), what do you expect ;D
 
I was disappointed with the whole Bahamut Fortress. My first party was level 53 and my second party was level 52. I was expecting to be climbing a bunch of floors to get to Vayne and face a shit load of enemies. After fighting in the first hallway before it came clear that they just kept coming, I eventually ran to the elevator, with my second party a bit weak not knowing that I was already at the end. Still managed no problem.
 
I loved the end..... Beat it at level 70ish.. Kinda challenging but The effects/graphics where FREAKIN awesome. And I really like Vayne he rules!! The story was equally cool.

lol Yeah, I started leveling them all up, and I just couldn't stop xDD I'd say, "that's more than enough......but if I went just a little bit longer they could be one more level..." so yeah. That kept happening xD I've always done that in games though ^^; I'm a bit of a leveling whore xD

although i do like collecting items ^_^
 
Yeah, i was still expecting something after it finished. Am more concerned that i havent got hardly any of the best equipment and will never get to use it on any amazing creatures.

I lost interest. I struggle to get into it now.
