*whistles* I loved the games.
Though the whole dungeon thing (I forgot what number that one was) kinda pushed me away from the whole series for a while.
The first one was just astounding though, like a true RPG.
Though the evolution patterns were kinda erratic, like I got a Gabumon, then it evolved into Angemon, I mean, what the heck? Not like the anime at all.
Numemon? Who think's he's crap? He literally is, but once you get that Monzaemon costume, he pwns. xD

Lmao. I did dislike the Digivolve pattern. They needed to make more main character and sticking to the main digivolve set. *nod*

Mine was Phoenixmon, though I think that was because of an item and not through natural means.
Monzaemon would qualify as second best though, and it's quite easy to get him; treat your digimon really badly, make him poo on the ground a lot, then you'll get Numemon. Find the costume thingy in the woods somewhere and make Numemon get into it and voila! he evolves into Monzaemon.
There is no age minimum either, so it's possible to have Monzaemon in for a long long time.

I remember having an Agumon that digivolved into a Meramon. That was unexpected and not what should've been a Greymon! It was nothing like the anime but it was pretty fun training. Like a good old RPG.
