Hi all,

I know that some of the remakes have different extras from the ps1 remake and the old snes orginal, can anyone tell me if there are any new extras in the GBA one? So far I haven't found any but that beasitry for bosses is alittle to long so maybe theres an extra dungeon near the end?

Thanks!

Well the loading times are meant to be faster on the GBA, the musics changed Slightly...and theres a new area called Dragons den which you unlock after beating the game, and it contains unique weapons for each of the characters, and the Diablos Magicite.

Ah wow thanks, so what kind of magic do you learn off Diablos and Leviathan if you know?

Cactuar, Leviathon Giglamesh and Diablos are ALL new summons in the GBA version ^_^

and all the glitches have been fixed - including the Vanish/Doom glitch....Phsyco Cyan can still be activated...but in a different way :P

I've not heard of any of those glitches, Physco Cyan sounds quite fun, how do you get him to go looney then?!

The famous glitch from the SNES version, revisited. This time, there's a new method to trigger it.
Step 1: In battle, kill Cyan.
Step 2: Revive Cyan.
Step 3: Have Cyan use his Level 2 Bushido, "Sky," previously known as "Retort."
Step 4: Cast "Imp" on Cyan.
Step 5: Watch in awe as Cyan loses his mind and proceeds to attack continuously, uninterrupted, until every enemy is dead.
This glitch is the result of two smaller bugs involving "Imp" Status and being revived in combat; one that makes Cyan counter with physical attacks, rather than the "Sky" move, and another that makes Cyan counter any move performed by any character, not just a physical attack from the enemy to Cyan. As you can see, activating this glitch is done differently from the original SNES version of the game, but it results in the same thing: Cyan countering his own counterattack over and over again, until the battle is won.

Hello, I'm new in here.
I had a little question about the PSX version of this game, particularly the PAL one. I was wondering if there's some scenes missing in this port, because I recently found a SNES script and while reading it I noticed a minor difference: In the shop of Jidoor, when Sabin is buying clothes for Gau before meeting his father, the SNES script went like this:
"(...)Impossible! SETZER! How dare you think of sticking him in that kinda getup?!
EDGAR: I got it! A tuxedo, silk hat...and... ...a rose in his teeth!
LOCKE: I think that's overdoing it just a bit... He should have a
bandana on his head!
EDGAR: What's so great about a bandana? Most of the time I see 'em
tied around dogs at the beach!
LOCKE: HEY! What do you mean by that? (LOCKE pummels EDGAR.)"

However, in the PSX, although I had all 13 characters in my team, the scene ended with the "How dare you think of sticking him in that kinda getup" line. I don't really know if it's different in the SNES; I've only read the script. But if it's true, why did they shorten that scene? Does anybody know if there are more scenes missing in the PSX port? Someone who had played both versions, SNES and PSX?
Thanks.
