did anyone like this game

to me, I say that Tactics is a really great game that square-enix made back in the day when squaresoft didn't merge with enix. I mean, really, in Tactics, you have many character classes to choose from and you can possibly make a very powerful army that includes one of each character class. the other good this is that in Tactics, you can basically send your character on separate quest as you're on your main classes. The battles are decent enough for a tactical game. So, I say that this game deserves a 10/10 for gameplay.

well cl0ud i played it and it is too easy if you know how to get the jobs like mime with even a simple weapon drive people nuts
here is what to do get 4 mimes to surond someone then get one of them to hit him and the rest follows suit. punches all around!
 
Best plotline ever. I loved it, I would always find myself playing more just to see how it unfolded.
 
I agree, one of the best plots ever devised, dark, mysterious, and sort of occultish in a sense too. :monster:

I loved every part of the game, and the strategy part just made me love it even more. You could recruit your own characters, customize them as you wish, tame monsters, get special characters, it was just awesome. Too bad I lost the CD already. >.>
 
The game was hard if you went straight through it without spending time to level up. If you spend a little time levelling up the game becomes really esay, especially when yo get T.G. Cid (Orlando).
 
i agree with everyone here. this game has one of the most epic, unpredictable, sensational storylines ive ever, ever seen. i never knew what to expect and was wowed by almost every other event. the betrayals, and deaths you wouldnt expect kept me on the edge. the gameplay was fun and it was fun to get powerful characters, the game was a challenge and the challenge was rewarded by the greatest storyline ever. this game deserves more worldwide credit then it recieves.
 
I found this game hard only at the beginning. I did some overlevelling at the beginning and the game become SO easy after it. It was actually a little boring at times because even the bosses were a total joke (aside of the final one... maybe).

But I did enjoy pretty the plot and overall I think the game is pretty good.
But there are much better FFs...
