She was introduced to us when she appeared on the UK Talent Show: "The X Factor", she got quite far but was voted off before the Semi-Finals, ending fourth. But the hopeful has returned holding the Holy Grail. Diana Vickers is officially now a recording artist. She was signed by Sony Music and it looked like Simon Cowell has missed out.

Her new single, Once, is out on the 9th April. She has been described as the singer with the claw, who seems to use her hand during performances.

But. And this is a big but.
What do you think of Diana?
Is she unique?

I hated her during the X Factor. Absolutely hated her, I was so glad when she got kicked off, I remember Lisa texting me, cause I was out, and shouting "YES!" xD

However, I LOVE this song. The chorus is particularly amazing, I can't get it out of my head. If the rest of the album is as excellent as this song is, she'll definitely have my converted as a fan.

I think with Diana is she has to go in a very specific direction to work, if she does badly, it's REALLY bad, but if she's excellent, she really nails it.

I thought she was good in X Factor. Her voice is like marmite. You either like it or hate it.

Might be a bit biased liking her since she's from the north and all, but I'm impressed with her first single. Unlike everyone else, she's not rushed out her album. Her voice is one of the most unusual ones I've ever heard, but I really do like Diana Vickers. Once is a very catchy song!

I had that song running through my head for months. I really like it. Her voice is unique and different, and I loved her on X Factor. Thought she was amazing, and she still is.
