I'm currently in the process of creating an RPG. Yes, and ACTUAL Role-Playing Game for the computer, not an RP on a site. The game will be called Diaboros Arkkainus: Devil's Tricks, and will be a 2D RPG in a similar style to FFVI. I've got quite a few people supporting me, including a few vets in the RPG Maker community who are waiting in the wings to help if I need content specifically for my game.

I may be able to add voice overs, but it's not COMPLETELY confirmed if I will.
 
I hope that you can make it far in with this game bro and i wish i could help ya out. But the only way i can help ya is if you can use voiceovers hah. I hope so because it be quite cool to hear my voice in it.

are you by chance using RPGmaker 2000/03/xp?
it's pretty useful if you can find it (free)

oh and some programs I have (that you should use if you do stuff with it)
-flash
-adobe photoshop
-audacity (for editing music files) you can't really make your own, but changing voice pitches and adding effects is good
-SUPER (converts between file formats) but my version stopped working recently
-Hypercam2 (screen recorder)

the red ones are free to download legally

Voice overs? There are quite a few women on these forums with good voices that you might be able to enlist the help of. As for guys... I dunno. You'll probably have some trouble there.
It would be pretty damn awesome if you DID get voices for your characters, though.

Actually, RPG Maker VX, full version, Japanese, English Translation Patch added. I also have the other RPG makers, but I prefer to finish the project in VX, at least... VX is more simple and streamlined. Also, thanks for the program suggestions. ^^ I'll look into them.
 
VX, I've been behind...
meh I've given up on large scale projects. I'll stick to banners and lost. (if there's anything you need, I'll probably not be online, but I might see what I can come up with)
 
I dont think it'll be that much harder to find voice overs for women and it is for men. Im sure there will be alot of willing people to do this for ya. That is if you can do it.
 
I'm pretty sure I can do it. ^^ I've got people in the RPG Maker community backing me.
