Have you ever had one of these happen?

I get these all the time at about a rate of one per three months.
It's really weird, like when I remember saying something the day before and then it happens again, and then I realize that we didn't have this conversation the day before. :(

I get this a lot as well. However, I believe that it is my brain tapping into what will happen and not what has happened. For, I imagine it happening and it will....eventually. I don't re-experience things.

I only get it once in a while when I feel like I have done this before in the exact same way. Of course, I am unable to recall wether I really have done it before or not. Specially since the course of time between the first time and the second one is a really long time between. So the first one may have never happened, but my mind has a weird feeling saying that it did happen. Not very frequent, propbably once every 2 months.

When I was younger I'd have Deja Vu every once in a while.

Now that I'm older & I've become a practicing Buddhist, which involves meditation, I get it extremely frequently. By that I mean that I get Deja Vu on average of about 2-3 times a week.

I've learned to just love the weirdness. :P

Interestingly enough, I think that perhaps my Deja Vu comes from my sleep. I've had dreamless sleep (meaning it's like looking at a black screen for a few minutes & then I wake up) since I was 12, so I think that perhaps I get the impressions from my sleep. Who knows though?

I hope this doesn't degenerate into another debate about life lol, :P

But still, mine are just too weird, I've had one 'dream' happen to me about 3 times over. Sometimes even 4, and I just find myself staring into space or something, asking:

'Wait, this just happened.....'
I believe I look weird when I do it.

I've had rather vivid deja vu scenes in my sleep, but I never remember them when I wake up. It is only while/after experiencing that scene again that it hits me.

Strangely enough, I sometimes get these moments about complete strangers and later on, they're good friends. I even had a deja vu scene about me going over to sit with a new girl and chatting with her one night. The first day of school that year, I did that exact same thing and we were fast friends.

It's cool. XD

You're the first person I've ever heard mention that!
For those of us who do remember our dreams quite vividly, it's easy to have Deja Vu in your sleep. I find sometimes that I'll dream about something and then not be quite sure if it really happened before, or if it really was a dream. XD

I hate how our minds play with our senses

Only a handful of people I know can actually remember their dreams.
Harry Potter was required to...XD

The faster we try to reconstruct our dreams, the faster they fall apart.
#1 reason why I never get deja vu from dreams.

Or at least I think....

LOL But if you can't remember them, how would you know? :P

As far as dreaming goes, when I can actually remember having a dream I never remember it vividly. The emotions or feelings are vivid, but everything else is kind of like looking at blurry still-frames of a movie. Everything's vague & choppy.

LOL But if you can't remember them, how would you know? :P

It's all about the subconscious telling me lol :P

It all just pops into my head, like, hey I think I've done this before kind of thing. I dunno why we get them.
