Any fans of Dean Koontz novels?

He writes thrillers of the sort you'd Stephen King to come up with.

I have around 20 of his books that were given to me as a gift. I read Dark Rivers Of The Heart a while ago, after that I opted for a shorter book and read Tick-Tock, and then I opted for an even shorter book and read Demon Seed.

I'm on The Face Of Fear at the moment, I'm not very far in but I've enjoyed it thus far. :wacky:

I'm a big fan, and will trawl the charity shops looking for any of his stuff, and I usually suceed which is nice.

The one that started me off was Life Expectancy and it just started from there

Hes released a graphic called In Odd We Trust. The story just reminds me of Bleach manga. I may give it a go lol.

I read a few of his books when I was looking for some literary direction, I had ran out of authors to read. =P

I'm glad I found him though, I enjoy his books quite a bit. I've got The Face, The Taking, and Velocity. I liked all three of them well enough, but Velocity was my particular favorite.

I love Dean Koontz. There are maybe only about 4 or 5 books of his that I haven't read yet, but I've got an extensive collection at my mom's house that I should probably get back from her. Anyway, I used to read a lot of his books when I was in high school; went through one in usually 2 weeks and started another right off the bat. The stories were always just very easy to get into and left you wanting more. Strangers is one that sticks out to me. :3 I loved that one!

Unfortunately, I don't really read a lot of books anymore as my passion for it sorta dwindled after delving deep into the life of an English major. After being required to read so many books, I just lost the will to read for pleasure. Hopefully it will come back again soon!

ive only read one of his books (The Servants Of Twilight) which i thought was awesome
after reading this thread though i feel i need to find more of his books as i have only been reading fantasy foe a while DragonLance FTW!!!

I recently finished one of his novels. Good Guys Finish Last, or something like that... The killer's cleanliness creeped me out a bit, but it was cool. My mother got me to read that book, she checks a lot of his books out from the library. Dean Koontz could very well be my next author fetish! :D

I love Dean Koontz's work! However, the Odd Thomas series has utterly sputtered out for me with the 4th book. The first 3 were good, but the 4th one I couldn't read.

I got hooked on Watchers. Shortly after, Phantoms still holds the place of 'scariest book ever written' for me. Twilight Eyes is also simply amazing, and I eagerly await a sequel.

reading fantasy foe a while DragonLance FTW!!!

DragonLance=ulimate win. Flint is a priceless character, IMO.
