Since I saw a Marvel fanclub, I thought I'd start my own DC Comics fanclub. ^_^ I've always loved DC, especially for creating Batman. Some of their creations include Superman, Wonderwoman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Green Arrow. If anybody could contribute good DC Comic character site links, it'd be appreciated. And a good banner would be great.​

To become a member, simply post, I'll okay you, then add you to the Memeber List! Simple, isn't it?​

^_^ I love pretty things, so I always end up making mine colorful and all that!
Edit: I just try to put thought into keeping a club going, but it looks like nobody likes DC. :P

Well, I never liked DC, except for the flash. Besides him, I thought it was pretty lame. I mean, there's the uber heroes in tights, the weak ones who manage to win, ect. Unlike Marvel, where heroes are actually cool, DC is....LAME. *not flaming btw*
 
Yea, I'd join but Im much more a marvel fan. The only eral DC hero I respect is Batman. And Batman is cool and all, but yea. Sorry there are not more DC fans cause DC used to be good back in the day
 
:D A good debate is always welcome.

All the DC peoples usually have weaker powers, it seems, or not as many, but they can still pull off the win and save the day. Thats what make 'em so awesome! 'Specially Batman, he has no actual powrs, but he can still save the city. (Hint towards Leki's love for Batman. XD)
 
Well Batman is most probably the greatest super-hero of all time, only Spider-Man would I consider to be the greater. He's got a similar tragic story to Spidey but it's the fact that he's a actual guy, no powers which makes him cool to me.

Read 'Dark Knight Returns' or 'Year One' or the animated cartoon from the 90s for a true sense of Batman, the movies and other media rarely do him justice.

And DC are still doing some good stuff, the 52 series for example.
 
Right now, I'm trying to collect the Batman Comics. I saved up money and brought the complete collection of Hush in one. Really great stuff.

The old Batman the Animated Series were the best, to me. I'm trying to find the Mad Hatter episodes, and any with the Joker and Scarecrow.

And what about the 52 series? I need to catch up on the news. ^_^
 
I recently got bored and DL 3 seasons of Batman Beyond cause I remember liking the show at the time. Anyways, yea, the old batmans were definitely cool.

I'd also agree that Batman makes the best hero debate a tough call cause he is pretty great
 
Most defiantly, Batman is one of the greatest heroes of all time! He was always my model/hero when I was little. :P Maybe he still is today. XD

What's your favorite character? Mine (besides Batman. XD) was probably Mad Hatter. I've always loved out-of-this-world stuff like Wonderland.
 
i always liked Mr. Freeze till the movie ruined him. Same goes for Poison Ivy who I thought was cool at one point.
 
There was a line I really wanted him to see in the movie, that he said in the older versions, somethin' like 'I would shed tears, if I had any left to shed.' I just remember being so mad and sad whenever he didn't say it. :sad2:

Mr. Freeze just... was ruined. I agree. He was so much better in the original with his wife still frozen and all.
 
Oh yea, I remember Bane. I never really liked him cause I didnt find him that clever. He was just the big brawny guy. But yea, he was kind of cool.

Man, I cant remember a lot of the enemies. I remember Cat Woman, Joker, Penguin, Two-face, Riddler, Mad Hatter, Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane,.....I know there were way more.
 
Yeah, I remember I guy named Charlie who made a suit to turn himself invisible to kidnap his daughter from his ex-wife. His face is creepy: Reminds me of a ventriloquist doll. *Shiver*

I know, at least in Hush, that Catwoman and Batman kiss and start a relationship. I'm starting to become pro Bat/Cat. :P

In the comics he was nothing like he was portrayed in the movie. He was super strong in the comics too after using the 'Venom' drug but he was an olympic level athlete on par with Batman anyway. He was a super-genius as well and not an idiot thug like that movie made him out to be, he is arguably the smartest villian out of all of his enemies.
 
oh, I wasnt just going by the movies by the way. the cartoons made him out that way too. You know, I would have really liked to get in the comic scene, but I never had a shop around me. We got one now, but meh.
 
Man, I tried lookin' for some DC Comics stuff at Empire Books, but all they have is Marvel! >_<

The only Bane I've really seen is in the movies, I haven't been able to get most of the comics, or really see them. :(

EDIT: I simply added somethin' called 'Marvel Maniacs' to the first post. People who talk here, but love Marvel more. :P What do you guys want to be under? Memeber, or Marvel Maniac/Friend?

EDIT #2: I'm leavin' FFF, so I'd like someone to close this Club. I won't care at all if somebody starts a new DC club after this.
