..was just a mistake.

I really disliked it.

It didn't even feel like Final Fantasy to me. The only faint reminder it even had was a moogle or two. The world, the battles, the gameplay, were all some weird style unusual to Final Fantasy games.. and the movement.. with the caravan and crap.. Wow. I was just astounded that something so pointless came from S-E. Needless to say, (though I'm saying it anyway) this was definitely the worst FF game that I've ever seen.

Anyone else agree, or am I just missing some spectacular feature..? Because I'm surely not seeing any..

I think it was different, but too repetative and therefore dull. The gameplay wasn't THAT bad, and I didn't mind the battle system, but the whole thing felt pointless. There was nothing to it, really. I finished 1 year, and collected all the teardrops, then was told I had to do it all again but go through more levels? No thanks. xD I'd had enough by the end of year 1.
If they'd actually made the world a little more engaging, and had added a storyline, it could have been a decent game. I didn't mind it not being RPG.

I think the WORST FF game is Tactics Advance. :P

This is a close second though.

IMO, it was a decent game. There were some things that made it different but to me that just makes it more interesting. Also, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was a GREAT game. You don't know what you're talking about..

i used to play it alot i got upto year 30 where the game is jus to hard and u die alot.

it was a fun game for a while though :D

Chystal Chronicles (gamecube)

hey to those who have this game, i own the game however havn't played it much, does anyone know the good points and bad points of this game? as i am interested to know

also whats the best race to play as?

You follow the same routine year after year, the stupid Moogle which carries your chalice will often ask you to hold the chalice in a middle of a boss battle - inconvenient to the extreme, your character does not speak, does not have an individual personality.

As for good points? I suppose painting the Moogle was good...

Ever race had its own benefits the Selkies just their best areas could also kill them. (with how fast they were.)

hm thanks, i liked the idea of creating your character but i agree, they had hardly any personaity, its why i lost interest

I didn't lose interest, mainly because I tend to be a game play gamer instead of a normal gamer or a storyline gamer.

A few points I never liked,

1. Your Mogle runs out of energy every 2 seconds which bothers me.

2. When you create a new character when you like half way to the last boss it's almost impossible to train them up.

Other than that the game was every good.

it was fun until you cant figure out the desert puzzle, you will give up or go online and cheat.

that juust the way it is
