Cool Weapons

You see me and my friend have a long running thing, as soon as we finish and RPG we argue about the coolest weapon, well in advent children it has to be clouds ultimate fusion type thing, where as in the game we can't decide because I think in the game Sephiroth and Cloud's swords all look gay.
But anyway which weapon do you think is th coolest in VII?

Peronally its got to Cid's Ultimate, what do you think??

My all time favorite weapon in FFVII is Aeriths full metal staff - its a staff but it looks freaking deadly XD i also love her princess guard, its so regal and looks like an earlier version of Yunas nirvana - its awesome

Which do you mean? The best weapon in the game... which is Cid's. Or Cid's "Ultimate" weapon... which isn't as strong?

Also I liked Ultima Weapon, Cloud's final blade.

cloud - organics, nailbat, apocalypse, ragnarok
cid - mop, dragoon lance, scimitar
barret - drill arm, rocketpunch
vincent - death penalty was awesome

I mean his Venus spear (which I can't remember the name of) and I agree that the the full metal staff looks rather potent.

God i hated the death penalty it looked like a regular rifle instead of some super amazing wepaon it was god awful looking vinnie's DP in DoC looked simply amazing.

Anyway back to topic Cloud Ultima weapon was amazing but i think Cids Venus Gospel (is that the right name??) is neatly tucked in at second

I actually liked Yuffie's 4-point Shuriken. I also liked Cid's Venus Gospel and Aeris's wiser staff, which kinda looked something like one of Yuna's weapons from FFX

It is Venus Gospel I'm sure, however I believe I have come up with my top three, Venus Gospel, Ragnarok and Silver Rifle (cos its a watergun!) Should we move onto another game perhaps or do people still want to add opinions??

Sephiroths sword is the coolest. I own a replica of it and it hangs in my livingroom along with a picture of Sephiroth.

Apart from that i would have to say Venus Gospel looked amazing too!

I liked Cloud's Ultima Weapon and how its attack power/color changes if you take damage. It is a very unique weapon I have not seen a weapon that can decrease in power yet in other Final Fantasy series like it.

I also really liked Nanaki' final weapon though I think it was more the story part of getting the weapon I liked.

Well, in FFI one of the hardest swords to get is called Ultima Blade and Decreases in power as you HP does!! and i think theres one in FIII as well.
