Especially when your opponent is stronger and more durable than you and can fire bullets at a whim with just his hands.
She has speed on him but not much else.

I think we have a misunderstanding here.
It's one machine and it's called the Shagohod. It's not involved here. It's in the video to show Volgin's power.

Second, he doesn't need the machine to fire bullets.

It would work considering Lightning Materia does obliterate the shit out of any type of machinery, and Tifa has done that plenty of times herself if you've played FFVII. By the time Tifa was finished those machines she has her fists, her elbows, knees and feet. I'd wager that Tifa would make Volgin her bitch at the end.

That's game mechanics. We saw what Tifa can actually do in AC and it's not impressive compared to high-end MGS characters. Loz toyed with her and he doesn't have the strength Volgin does.

Thus with her speed she can dodge the bullets, with a time materia cast slow or stop on him, the proceed to...oh, I don't know, cast Lighting 3 on him so that all the rounds he wears on his body go off and kill him...you know, like how he died in MGS3. Big ol' fireworks show.

I'm not using game mechanics. All I've said about Volgin is depicted in cutscenes.
-he fires bullets with his hand in cutscene.
-he can punch through thick tank armor in cutscenes.
-he can withstand lightning bolts without even being knocked down. Fact.
-Snake was only using the RPG-7 in his fight with the Shagohod as seen in cutscenes. Thus he was blasting Volgin with the weapon because the Colonel is damaged.

i think thay the fight wil end with a draw both of them are strong in hand to hand combat and both can use lightning.so yup it is a draw

Oh and Volgin also took the explosion in the Shagohod's cockpit which causes flames to eat through parts of the armor of the machine. Volgin was in the center of that and was basically unphased.

No.......Snake shot the shit out of the Shagohod, then Volgin was idiot enough to step out of the Shagohod and drive it while standing on top of it. He wasn't damaged, Snake just shot him because he was an open target. Geez, for a Volgin fanboy you sure don't remember very well how the game plays out.
