Hi all, I decided (upon the release of FFXIII) to go through all the Final Fantasys I could get hold of again (1&2 on PSX, 3&4 on NDS, 5&6 on PSX and 7,8 and 9 on PS3). I've got to FFVIII having done everything through and through (even a super fast gold chocobo, 3 of each master materias, 3 Final atacks and phenixs etc. for FFVII) but in order to do FFVIII to the same degree chocobo world is a must! so, I vent out and got a poketstation! :-D
It seems, however, that unless you have a poket station with a serial number ending in 211 you are actually limited in what you can get! and Getting such a pocketstation doesn't seem to be an option. So... Does anyone here have:

- A Poketstation with serial number ending in 211
- The PSX version of FF8
- A PSX or PS2
- An FF8 save file at a point where you have caught a Chocobo
- A PS3
- A memory card adaptor for PS3
- A computer
- A USB key

If your answer is 'yes' to all of these requirements, can you find it in your hart to start a chocobo world game on your Poketstation from your PSX version of FF8 and send Boko to the world. Then use the memory card adatpor to copy the chocobo world game file from your Poketstation to your PS3. Then copy the game file from PS3 to USB key and e-mail it to me (the game file not the USB key! lol).

Thank you so much in advance!

PS: I'm open to sugestions for an alternative

Chocobo World is JP only, you can only play it with the JP version of FFVIII (at least that's how I remember).

The PC version of FFVIII has Chocobo World and you don't need a Pocketstation, but you'll have to buy the PC version and play through it until you have access to it. If you're willing to spend the money for the PC version then okay, do it. But I don't think it's worth doing just for the sake of completion.

I've got a poket station and it works fine with my europe version of the game, and I've read from many sources that the US version is compatible too! Its just that poketstations weren't readily available outside of japan. But it's basically a memory card with a screen and a couple of butons so it works with all versions of the consoles and of the games.

But thanks for the reply.
