Hi all, am new here so I'm unsure if this is the correct thread to post for assistance. I'm in a game that have some music aspect as a relaxation method. So I'm planning to make a video for keepsake. I wish to play the chocobo theme song but being the music illiterate I'm. I will surely need help from ff fans out there that knows music. I know there are plenty of scores out there that have chords I need. But this music portion of the game, being a minor add on, only have notes we all learn as children. Do, Re, Me, Fa, Sol, La, Te, Do.. So I'm calling out to any music guru to help me out this one small favour. Thanks a million.

Can you read sheet music? If you can, try this one (it's a fanmade transcription I found by googling):

If you can't, I can transcribe it into the doremi or CDEFGABC format for you =)
Just reply to this post if you want a transcription :)

That would be wonderful. doremi would be best. if you could briefly explain what is the diff between doremi and cdefgabc would be even better. thanks a million pal

for C major, (using all white keys)
do = C
re = D
mi = E
fa = F
so = G
la = A
ti = B

D--B-G-E-D-B-G-B-G--B--A-G-GAG-F-G---F-G-GBD-E-F---D--B-G-E-D-B-G-B-G--B--A-G-GAG-F-G---F-G-GBD-E-F
E--C
-A-F#-A-C-E-D--G--D--B-C--A-F#-D-F#-A-C-B-BCB--A-B---E--C-A-F#-A-C-E-D--G--D-B-A-ABA-B-A--G-A-ABC-D-E--F#--G

OR, in doremi form:

re--ti-so-mi-re-ti-so-ti-so--ti--la-so-solaso-fa-so---so-sotire-mi-fa---re--ti-so-mi-re-ti-so-ti-so--ti--la-so-solaso-fa-so---fa-so-sotire-mi-fa
mi--do
-la-fa#-la-do-mi-re--so--re--ti-do--la-fa#-re-fa#-la-do-ti-tidoti--la-ti---mi--do-la-fa#-la-do-mi-re--so--re-ti-la-latila-ti-la--so-la-latido-re-mi--fa#--so

dash (-) represents pause. Yellow font represents a higher note. i.e. doremifasolatidoremifasolati
# indicates the black key directly to the right of the key. So fa# refers to the black key directly to the right of fa.
My transcription should be more or less accurate. If you are having problems, just ask here again. Good luck! =)
