chocobo blues!!!!

so ya im new to the game just got to kaza or w/e rode a chocobo up to a overgrown rose or w/e looked like a marlboro to me so im like oooo snap a marby! from final fanta..... uhh bird?? <.<. .>.> O_O ummmm ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! 2 hits, i died, the damn bird floped me on the ground and hauled featherd ass out of there while im stuck faceing a giant pist off plant with a taste for taru blood on its umm tentacles? ya so i learned the hard way, so i must ask this, will a choco flee like that from all big monsters? or just notorious ones? cuz that reaaaaaaaly sucked! lol!

Chocobo can run for numerous reasons. Some mobs such as that are called Notorious Monsters or NM for short. If they read "Impossible to read" then that means they are such a beast. Most of the time they will aggro you. If you take hate you will loose the chocobo and it will run off. It runs off when you get off it as well or when you've been on for to long it will kick you off.
