Anyone else cant stand him? He is just the most annoying little freak in the entire series! He suits some sort of crazy game series not one where the plot revolves around drama and a universal disaster has happened! Its just so hard to take alot of the game seriously with him jumping around in the background. Everything he says is just a complete joke! He is like rikku in X-2 except in X-2 it was okay because the plot wasnt completley disasteriffic (get the refrence?).

So yeah i thought i should just express my utter hatred. Please dont throw bricks, i just got back from the hospital for not playing FF9.

Anyway, I didn't find him all that annoying. Occasionally I'd cringe, but character wise, he is pretty awesome, and even though he isn't my strongest character in game, he's pretty fun to use.
 
I don't really hate him but considering the situation he was in, I did find his attitude to be rather out of tune. Bad acting.
 
Thats exactly the reason why i hate him! Maybe im overreacting a bit but it just seems rediculouse.
 
It's not as if he knew everything though eh? Do you seriously expect Tidus to be as miserable/hopeless/whatever as everyone else? It took absoultely ages before they even let on that Yuna would have to die if she performed the final summoning. Not his fault for being hopeful.

And also, it's ridiculous.
 
Lol. I agree with Mr. Morrison up there. =p.

Tidus came from the Old Zanerkand and it was all about lights, happy people, he was a blitz star ace and whatnot.

Coming from that into a world that is sad/depressed/and the like, he didn't really know how to act or react to it. He just acted...himself.

Without him, I think the story wouldn't have been the same, really. Yeah, sometimes he could be a bit frustrating but all in all he was a good character. By the end he had become a great leader, IMO.
 
Lolwut?! Tidus was a very good character. He was the one who considered beating Sin without the Final Summoning. That by default makes him smarter than a lot of FF characters. I found him endearing enough. Yes, the voice acting wasn't the best but it still wasn't that bad.
 
i dont know what u are tlkin bout tidus was one of my best characters in the game, he isnt annoying hes pretty good relli, ok he can become a bit annoying but only in the cg work i find not in game play, i think he is in the top 5 for ff main characters
