Help celestial mirror

I am in the macaladia woods. I reunited the woman with her husband, and I thought I was supposed to go on the glowing path. But I can't find the kid I am supposed to talk to. there is an intersection at one point, but there is a person block the path to go northwest. I think the kid may be up there but I can't pass ther person. He/She is saying something about a tree being knocked down and that he/she is tired or something... but it's making me angry. I want the celestial mirror and I can't seem to be able to get it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! (I just acquired the airship, so that is the point of the game I am at right now.)
 
Do you have the Cloudy Mirror? If not then I don't think the kid shows up until you do, if you don't you have to go to the temple where you fight Belgemine (sp?) with Yuna, outside there's a chocobo somewhere and you have to do this race sort of thing and as a prize for winning you get the Cloudy Mirror, take that to the forest, the kid should be there and hey presty you'll get the Celestial Mirror.

If you HAVE got the Cloudy Mirror, then I've no idea D:
 
Have you tried looking at a Walkthrough on YouTube? GoingCrazy (I think is her name) has tons of FF walkthrough videos and if you watch where she goes when she's going to get the celestial mirror then you should be able to figure it out. It can be quite confusing at times, I know. D=
 
yep. i figured that out. :-) now i have to find all the weapons and crests and sigels. I don't want to dodge 200 lightning bolts in a row...
