Capturing Monsters (FFX)

On FFX im capturing 10 of each monster for the Monster Arena in teh Calm Lands and im stuck on a persific monster.

The Sand Worm:

Im lookinmg around the Sanubia Desert for them but im finding it really difficult only have 3/10 while all the other creatures on Sanubia Desert i have 10/10

so does anybody know the best location to find this beast

also i havent seen a capturing moster help section so if anyone else has any problems post on here.
 
Once you've done the Cactuar sidequest and stoped the sandstorm you can find the Sand Worm down there. That's the place I remember fighting it the most.
 
Near the ruins.

There's a message in al bhed saying:

Right for weaker fiends
Left for stronger fiends

Obviously you should go left, that's where the ruins are.

you'll encounter birds,cactuars and sand worms more often there.

thats right. I think the left path takes u to dark ifrit lol and u dont wanna go there:blink:
 
I finally caught 10 and you know what that sign is bull**** i caught all mine near the 2nd save point you see when you first go there,i was trying the left side for ages and got none so i tried exploring,ive now done the calm lands and when i play once again ill be going into teh sunken cave.

it worked for me :p

sunken cave is one annoying place for capturing, the valhala (or smth) and tonberries are so hard to encounter ><
 
Yep, that is where the stronger monsters are suppose to reside but I fought more birds in there than anything. Anyhow, he got the 10. w00tage...
