Help Can't get mu to appear outside the chocobo ranch

I have played about 60 battles without it appearing. Is there any reason it would not appear?

Getting the L4 Suicide enemy skill

There are two enemies that you can learn this skill from. You can learn it from Mu, who resides outside of the Chocobo Ranch; and Trickplay, who resides outside of Bone Village.

This happened to me several weeks ago. I was going after L4 Suicide and couldn't find Mu. I just went and got other Enemy skills and found Mu later. Remember there are different types of grass around the ranch. Maybe that will help. Oh and check the beach (you never know).
