Help Can't get dragon fangs at all

I have 2 dragon fangs with me and I need two more to build the Lionheart. But I can't get any at all. Every guide/source out there tells me to go defeat blue dragons in the trabia area or on the island closest to hell.

Well, blue dragons aren't very common in either area. And whenever I DO encounter them, I mug fury fragments, not dragon fangs. So either all of those guides are mistaken, or dragon fangs are some extraordinarily rare item that only a crazed lvl99 power gamer would have the patience to collect.

Hmm, if I recall this was a bugger to find and get >_>. Do you remember how you got the first two? My suggestion would be to take off mug and defeat it and maybe you'll recieve it after battle? I think I was stuck a while back with the same issue and I think I did that to get the dragon fangs. In my walkthrough guide it says that it's in the snowy forest. Have you fought them in the forest or just around the Trabia area and not the forest? Hope that helped! ^^

You can get them from low leveled grendels, they have to be in their 20's if i remember right. If not from them you can get them from ruby dragons, blue dragons, and a number of other ones. If you have access to the island closest to hell you can find them there. However, draw 100 death spells and junction them to Squall's status attack it should help quite a bit. Since the monsters on that island are high leveled.

I fight the Blue Dragons on the Island Closest to Hell to get the Dragon Fangs. This seems to be the area where I encounter Blue Dragon's most commonly. In order to get the items as well, make sure not to Mug it. Dragon Fangs are a dropped item and not a mugged item, and using Mug in many cases prevents the Blue Dragon from dropping an item.
