All my chars are around 44-45 and i lost against the last boss the undying. So im thinking i should go lvl up my chars until maybe 46-47. I have the best gear money could guy and have all the right magicks. Anyone know where i could go to lvl up my chars fast?

I found him a little difficult and I completed the game varying at levels of 55-57.

As for the battle itself, I strongly suggest having the Gambit "Foe: Any" and set it to some kind of cheap Magic (Firaga, Darkga, Shock, etc), for when he puts up his physical barrier. Make sure you're always buffed up with Protectga, Shellga and Bubble - watch out for his "piercing dispelga."

There's nothing really out of the blue here - he tends to stick to a pattern. When you've been bubbled, try to stick more to Curaja as opposed to Cura(ga), as you'll likely need to restore larger numbers of HP.

Weapons ... I had the "Save The Queen" on all three members - a two handed sword, which can be purchased at Balfonheim Port.

EDIT:
The lack of HP bar makes it difficult to determine how well you're doing, but he gives one large indication - when he strikes half health, he first fires up his barrier(s). It's estimated that he has around 200,000hp.

Good luck :]

thanks for the tips guys, but im wondering where I could go to lvl up my chars fast

Try Going Through Gernovian (sp) .. You Know, The Place You Went After You Fought Cid The First Time, Where You Got The Sword For Ashe.

You also might be able to train in the Necrohol of Nabudis not sure if its worth it though, you get 1300exp per fight (2600 with the embroided tippet). I find that my attcks miss them alot though.

The place I like to train is the area where you fight the golem Roblon (I think thats it), it's in the Nebreus deadlands in the secret area...tons and tons of skeletons spawn at once, just spam firaga quite a bit and you're doing just fine.

where is the nebreus deadlands exactly??

I believe you can reach the Nabreus Deadlands through the Salikawood.
Try to find an area called the Piebald Path. I think that should lead you either to the Necrohol of Nabudis or the Deadlands.
If you fought the Big Bomb when you passed through before, then the Piebald Path is the right path after you pass through the battleground.

I found him fairly easy and I was level 52/53. I actually went in with my level 52 party thinking I had a long journey to the top so I could level up but I got caught by suprise how early on in the Bahamut Fortress that you face the bosses. My weaker party done well but eventually with no MP they died to the Undying but then my level 53 party came in and kick his ass.

Giruvegan is probably a good place to train. I think I got all my members to 51 in there when I was at level 48.

Yeah I'm at level 80 something with my main 3 and I go to the upper areas of the Great Crystal to level and with the Embroidered Tippet, they still Level up like crazy. Beware though, some enemies can still kick the snot outta ya up there.

I just kicked his A$$ at lvl 47 ;) thanks for your help everyone
