Can I Borrow That?

The last time i lent something out was my FFVII...it took 3 months to get it back D: since then i haven't let anyone borrow any of my games...and my friend who recently moved borrowed three of my games and never returned them for like...a year so when i went to his new house i took them back =]

I'm just really really paranoid about these sorts of things =/
 
I leant FFVII out once and NEVER got it back -__-

I just lend people everything all the time, clothes especially because I have so many, my mate is always round raiding my wardrobe, altho, in fairness I have a few of hers aswe,. If we had the same shoe size...well, I dread to think :wacky:

I always seem to be missing games/DVD's/CD's...I re bought a cd recently even tho the mate that has it only lives round the corner xD

My mate Clare has countless DVD's of mine. I know I'l get them back but I just forget haha

I won't let certain things out of my sight though. Some one wanted to borrow FFIX and I was like you can sod RIGHT off -__-
 
Sure, I'll let friends borrow my crap. In fact, a buddy of mine currently has my DS, Gamecube, San Andreas, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss, and Windwaker.

...I might want to see about getting that stuff back at some point.
 
No, not anymore. I let my friend Kim borrow Breath of Fire 3 once and when I got it back, it was so full of scratches it looked liked she lashed it with a whip. The thing that pissed me off: SHE DIDN'T EVEN PLAY IT!!! I'm like 'WTF'! How the hell did you scratch it!? Turns out she doesn't put her games back in their cases. She just leaves them out and about. But I don't have to worry about that anymore, cuz she's all the way in VA and I'm in CT :P...plus I have no friends here...*hint hint Cerri :wink:*
 
I used to, but then a friend of mine lent me her FFXII in exchange for Phoenix Wright last year and I STILL haven't gotten it back yet.
 
My friends never ask to borrow my stuff, but I let them borrow my hats/sunglasses sometimes. Oh, and I let my friends borrow my FF games sometimes, as long as I can trust them to give it back within a few months. :P

Pencils/pens, too.
 
i let you borrow my stuff if i really trust you. the higher level me trusting you be the long you can keep it.
 
Yeah I let my friends borrow my stuff. Mostly dvds/cds/books though, not so much clothes as we're different sizes and none of them would want to wear my flowery hippie skirts anyway. :wacky:

I think I currently have two dvds lent out.. Although I can guarantee that I'll have at LEAST one lent out at anyway point. I usually let my friends borrow films if I tell them it's good, and they say they've never seen it, so I force it upon them. :wacky: And we lend each other CDs out a lot as we're all a bunch of poor sods and it's much cheaper that way.

I generally trust them although there have been times when I get a book back and the cover is creased (that annoys me SO much :gasp:) or when the dvds come in those cardboard sleeves, and they either return the dvd without the sleeve or it comes back all bent and teared. -__- So now I just take the sleeve off before giving it to them >_> Same with hardback books.

And I think I've only had one case where a friend has lost something, and that was when Cath lost Bridget Jones Diary. >_> I wasn't particularly bothered though because I bought it secondhand for 50p, and then I replaced it secondhand for £1, so it was still a lot cheaper than buying it new. :wacky:
 
I wouldn't trust someone with it. :gasp: I lent it to my friend once for a few hours as it was part of her fancy dress outfit, but I felt so envious and kept stealing it back and wearing it. I can't say it went TOO well with my outfit though, Nancy Drew in a trilby? :wacky:

...and I've never seen Nancy Drew soooooooooo....

I still wants the tribly though >_<
