My friend doesn't like his NES anymore, and I asked if I could buy it and he said no problem, but I don't know what a reasonable price would be. I offered $70 for it since it was fairly used, and he insists that he will also throw in a few games with it; Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy (for an extra $10 lol), Duck Hunt. He is giving me that for $70, (including FF $80) Is this an appropriate price? I don't want to rip him off.

If you're concerned about ripping him off, then don't be. $80 sounds like a little much to me. Great games and stuff, but at the end of the day, you're still buying a dated console.
Yeah, you're doing him a favor for now...$10 would be being fair to him really...but I guess some of those games are the kind people keep a hold of, so, yeah...if the money's not a big deal, pay him what he wants but lord it over him!

Pay em 10, MAYBE 20 for it. I've seen donation stores that have tons of those things sitting on their shelves. They ain't worth that much, Even the original unopened box. 70 bucks is just plain stupid. You could go on ebay or craigslist and get the games for a couple dollars a piece. Your chopping off your own foot.

Go for it, then. At least you know for certain that you're getting a NES that works (I'm assuming you've tested it since it's your friend's). Can't be guaranteed that if you shop online.
