For those of you who remember, you might recall my obsession with cultural differences. With the exception of Canada, most of my culturally relevant jokes are completely harmless. But I'm curious, I was looking up british idioms earlier and I came across this list. How many of you have heard some of these?

Ive heard of most of them and probably use about half of them quie regular.....it's a bloody huge list though, I was about half way through actually deleting what I didnt use but I got wankers cramp, so I gave up

Soem of them though Ive just never heard at all, but that might be a regional thing -shrugs-

I can guess what wanker's cramp means...

"Pull your finger out" didn't mean what I thought it did. Neither did "pink pound". Terms like "Money for old rope" make sense but some like "giving a donkey strawberries" just seem weird.

That's one of the ones Ive never heard of... xD

I'm pretty sure Ive heard pink pound used, probably on tv or summat, it's not something Id ever use haha

Some of those are the most obscurely made-up phrases that I've ever heard in my life but the majority are all things that make me go "aww, I know that!"

I'm quite the fan of "Bob's yer uncle" and/or "Bob's yer maw's brer" (mum's brother).

I'm familiar with only a handful of those...and they're pretty self-explanatory. Like "Fine and Dandy."

My Favorite is Bob's Your Uncle
I'm really curious who this extraordinary Bob character is.
