Hey i was just wondering wat do you need to get break hp limit on peoples shields on finalfantasy 10

You can acquire this ability a number of ways. The first and easiest is to win the Chocobo race at Reminium Temple; you'll get 30 Wings to Discovery, but only once. As you can see, the Wings to Discovery give you the Break HP Limit ability, so to obtain them singularly thereafter,you must do one of the following: Either defeat Shinryu in the Monster Arena, or Bribe a Marlboro with 600K. I recommend the former option, because that's alot of money just to get two Wings.
You could also obtain Armour that has Break HP Limit as a preset ability from the Dark Aeons, Omega Weapon, Nemesis and Penance...however, you won't be able to control what other abilities come along with it, so I don't recommend this option; after all, your're supposed to use the BHPL ability to defeat the Dark Aeons.
There's another trick which I used to get the elusive Curseproof ability, along with BHPL. In the cave in which you acquire Yojimbo as an Aeon, you can fight the Dark version later on. So what I did was, defeat him, win the BHPL armour, save, soft reset, load, and fight him again. You can get as many as you want this way, as long as your characters are strong enough.
