the new bond game. it's pretty average, which i was expecting since it's a bond game. i read a few reviews saying that it was average, but i was completely sold when i read one saying that, with the current financial state of the studio (mgm), it's the nearest we'll get to a bond film for a couple of years.
it definitely does play like an interactive movie, it's like they made the cut scenes first then added in the gameplay afterwards. all you can really fault about the graphics is that nobody's facial expressions ever really change.

there is the base for a really, really good game there, but they seem to have been content with an ok game and rushed it. the hand-to-hand combat stuff looks fantastic in game, but to actually do it all you have to do is press a button and watch bond take a guy out. it'd have been so much better if you had to properly control him through those moments, and it would add so much more to the game.
the chase scenes on foot are good, but that's about it. they're very un-bond like because you can only sprint all out for a few seconds before you have to jog a little bit and catch your breath. if it truly were james bond, he'd go all out for it until he'd caught the guy.

the one thing that they've managed to do fantastically well are the car chases, which have a feeling of games like burnout at times.
