Blitzball is a very nice game. I have won ofcourse, on every tournament and exhibition games. But sometimes, I intend to lose for some prizes that I want to have. Not all 1st prizes are good. Sometimes being a runner-up is better, it just depends on the prizes that I wanted to have.

I've won the first major tournament in Luca. The score was 2-1. It was pretty difficult, considering the Besaid Aurochs stats are horrible at the time.

when i get into it i kinda get really obssesed. Cause really want to wait until you have the airship. Cause then you can get wakka at a low level wile everyone else is low. But i do get obssed with it and after the luca part i didnt keep gonning and Tidus was already a lvl 10 before i kept going. I also have a hard time beating the al bead. They have the best golie in the game. I want that guy and its so hard to get him.><

I agree the first match was kinda hard to beat cause the Aurochs suck at the beggining and i never ran into a situation like that in Blitz were you have to lose to winDel said:

what you want to do is get tidus's speical move the one you can get on the boat and use that. its pretty fun. After that just keep blocking till you get wakka out. Then take dato and move up and pass it to wakka where he can use the venom shot to score.

I had some trouble winning before, but when I fianly got the hang of training up my character I managed to win for the first time and after that first win there was no stopping me. It's pretty easy to win after the first time because you tend to know that if you did it once you can do it again.
but I love the mini game as its a mini RPG in side of a bigger RPG because you have the chance to build up your own team and also raise them to be the best they can possibly be.
It is by far my favourite mini game in the Final Fantasy seires thus far!

Yeah, it is kinda difficult at first. It's always like that. All you got to do is train and train, enter exhibitions , it's ok if you lose, the idea there is to get points for experiences.
Here's a suggestion, it might be of some help:
------> Make points(one or two is ok), just be sure your score is higher that your opponent's. After that, all you have to do is pass the ball to your member, then pass it again back to the player who threw it, then pass it back again. Just pass and pass and pass until the time is up. The result is that, the players who are passing the ball to each other will gain experience bigger than the other players.
Do the same to your other mates. Make your goals higher than your opponent's before you do this. Just to be sure that you will win in the end.
It's up to you, anyway! ^__^

I remember the first Blitz team I had, Tidus was 50+ levels higher than the rest of my players. At the time I didn't know how to properly level up each member.

how was Tidus so mamy levels ahead of the rest of the team thats seems almost impossible

I loved Blitzball. When I acquired Jecht Shot, I became undefeatable. My top score for a season was over a hundred. Im sure every match ended 7-0 or better

well Tidus at the beggining was my only shooter too that is until I got Brother but even then i made sure to pass it to other members of the team so that its easier for Tidus to make the shot
My main three were Tidus(FL), Ropp(MF) (from the Al Bhed travel agency on the Mi'ihen Highroad) and Zazi Guado(RF)

What was the highest number of goals you guys have scored in a game? Best I could do so far is 10-0 against the Ronso Fangs.
My average win is 7-0 to me (obviously, I said "win")
