Has anyone seen it yet? I'm not sure if it's been released in America yet since it's a New Zealand film, and it comes out in the UK tomorrow. Basically, I'm wondering if it's worth going to see since it isn't going to be shown at my local cinema, so we're planning a trip to Newcastle to see it. But obviously I don't want to waste precious time, money and petrol. So; worth it or not?

It just came out this week in the US on DVD, but I haven't seen it--there was a preview for it on my DOA DVD, and the premise was like something a couple junior high schoolers might come up with. But someone made an actual movie of it. That said, it doesn't seem like it takes itself seriously at all, the kind of humor involved reminded me a lot of Shaun of the Dead. We'll see, I suppose.

It's probably going to be one of those films that's so ridiculous it's actually really good. But yeah, help from someone who's seen it would be appreciated.

It's out today in the UK (I Think) So im gonna go see it this weekend.
Looks awesome hope its not dissapointing.
Hope i don't get a fear of sheep after watching it! :D

It looks absolutely ridiculous. It looks like one of those films where there's blatantly a guy on the other end of the sheep with his hand up its knitted-backside.

I'm going to see it with my friends :wacky:
Purely for an inside-joke, though. It wouldn't make sense if I explained it.

I thought my boyfriend and his mates were taking the piss when they mentioned it to me, rofl. But I seen the trailer and I seriously wanna see it! Good for a lark!

Looks rediculous to me, but I like those sorts of movies normally.

I won't go out of my way to watch it but if it turns out a load of friends are going then I might consider it.

It's got a little creapy kind of feeling to it when I was watching the preview, but the thought of killer sheep is laughable. Though I'll probably end up renting it to check it out.

Well unlike most people I went to see it on Friday night, which was difficult since there's only 2 showings a week in the whole of Edinburgh.

Left the cinema with positive feelings about it, it was all-in-all a good laugh but they did go slightly overkill on some stuff. I know that seems unlikely in a film based on weresheep but they did.

Seen it last night. It was so-so, loved the actors they were all excelent and the script was great too. The sheep freaked me out, but the amount of blood and gore was abit too OTT, but I guess thats what they wanted to do.

Didnt like it when the hippie was becoming a weresheep though, he freaked me out! And did anyone else think that evil brother Alistar was very Bruce Campbell?

Just finished watching this movie and I thought it was just a waste of time. It had some creapy parts in it but it wasn't very scary, and I thought some of the effects where kinda cheap. Loved the gore in it but that was the only thing worthy about it. I love a movie with a lot of blood and guts.

Though I do have different opinions about sheep now

It's a great followup to the humor and gore from Bad Taste, and shows that New Zealand have found their niche in this genre.

Peter Feeney's role as Angus Oldfield, did save the movie from just being about murderous sheep, and gave the movie a more human approach (and thereby you can question who's the real animals here)

Absolutly one to watch, but maybe not one to buy?

You do know that it wasn't meant to be that scary in the first place? It's meant to be very tongue in cheek like Shaun of the Dead which also like Black Sheep is more funny than scary.

And considering the effects were done by WETA Workshop I'd imagine that they were intentially cheap as well unless they've really slacked off since LOTR.

Yes, it's without doubt a film you'll only watch once with some pals not expecting anything but a decent laugh.
