Basically, it's about a woman who has an accident and wakes up with parts of her body replaced. It airs in the UK in January 2008, but some of you (probably in the US) could have watched it already. So here's a nice little discussion thread.

Myself? I'm looking forward to it. Saw it being advertised for the first time as part of ITV2's winter dramas coming up.
 
But its been advertised here in the UK for next year. And Michelle Ryan (that right?) has been promoting it over here. So whats going to happen then??
 
Right, Ive been looking forward to it. Someone actually said if she had more undressed scenes the series would have been saved. I doubt it.
 
Actually, I hear the fans are petitioning for it to stay on.

The reviews were good, but the ratings were low apparently.

Still, I'm watching it.
 
What a ridiculous concept. Granted, I have not watched this show, so I won't judge it too harshly, but it seems so...so lame.

A woman's body parts are replaced with mechanical limbs, giving her super human abilities. All of a sudden, she's a crime fighter who engages in dangerous activities 24/7. She was just some housewife or something prior to her accident. C'mon...

I'm not surprised to hear of its cancellation.
 
I doubt a petition would succeed tbh, I don't think that it'll gain a massive cult following like other cancelled shows like Firefly and Futurama and unless there is a high chance of some success then a revival won't be on the cards.

And gee, I only put it up because it was someone I'd watched before in a soap I've been watching for years. Who knows? Maybe you could be yet surprised by this.

There's also an old show of this going back some years - fact for all you who didn't know. ^_^
 
Indeed, it was a show from the 70s originally I believe. So its not brand new or anything. How about watching it before you jump to the conclusion it'll be bad.
 
Still, my mum tells me it was a good show to watch round that time.

I told her that there was a Bionic Woman show coming on and there's the thing bout the 70s one.

It won't come on until the New Year, unfortunately. I can't wait to watch it! ^_^

I watched those videos I attached to my first post and was gripped suddenly.
