Ha! I'd expect her to be older than that actually! It looks nothing like her either. Vamp looks really strange aswell. The weird thing is though, I'm not too botherd about snake looking old. It's still going to be the same good old actor and because of that, it doesn't bother ma at all!
 
Yeah, I guess that is true, though Big Boss was always cool to me even when he was old and stopped wearing the headband, though I don't know when that happened.
 
There haven't been many posts in this thread for a while have there? MGS 4 is ever nearer to being finished (May in the UK, Stupid European languages XD) and damn, am I looking forward to it. I receaved a PS3 for Christmas and should be buying DMC 4 at the end of this month, but the main game I am looking forward to is MGS 4!

Yeah, I think that most people already knew that the canon ending for MGS was the Meryl one. Besides in MGS2, you can call Otacon after defeating Olga and it'll talk about tomboys.
 
yeah, I prefered to end MGS1 with Otacon though, mainly beacuse of the stealth camo, but it was pretty cheesy with Meryl... Just the way I like it!
 
I always wondered if the fact Snake's real name was David had to do with his voice-actor's name being David.

So, Liquid's real name be Jim.
 
naaaah, I doubt it has anything to do with the actor, interesting theory though. David Hayter (If that's his name) has been in quite a few things actally.
 
I'm the leader(not founder) of the animeb Metal Gear Brigade, so it's a given that i 'll wanna join ya ;P.

An yes Hayter's been in tons of stuff before MGS like guyver or gundam
 
Sorry I hadn't been here for some time, MGS4 is getting closer and the MGO Beta is closer than ever. And welcome new recruits.
 
I've only played MGS3, but it was enough to get me interested in the whole series. Can't wait for 4, that's for sure. =D I'll probably get around to playing the earlier games some time.

Yeah, well... I don't know what to say appart from AWESOME-NESS!!!!! MGS4 seriously is the best in the series, and there couldn't have been a better way to end the saga. I finished the game the day after I bought it on Solid Normal, and I was truely amazed.

The story was great aswell
Big Boss and Major Zero... Very unexpected

What did everyone else think?
 
It is truly an awesome game, one of the best in history. Hideo Kojima is a genius! I must say though, getting the Big Boss emblem was a lot easier than in previous games.
