Beta emails sent?

Anyone have reliable info on beta invites being sent. We had a guy in our Vent that I dont really trust at all tell us that he received a beta email already. He wont back it up with screen shots so I doubt it at this point.
I have not seen any info on US beta invites yet. Any of you have a website with more info?

I'm almost certain he's lying, nothing has been mentioned on FFXIV Core and that follows FFXIV news religiously, it might as well be SE's own FFXIV site the news they manage to obtain. Plus nothing else has been mentioned on any other news and/or gaming site so he's fibbing

I did have an email from the other FF forum (which I haven't been on in like, months due to NOD32 blocking it) saying the Beta had been leaked. I may have to disable my antivirus and have a look on there, see what the full message is.
