I will always love number 8 but Final Fantasy 7 will always be known as the RPG game that brought all RPGs to a new level of graphics and play ability...and the storyline really makes no sense in 7 at the end but hey still the game that made all games better today
FFVII had the best storyline in my opinion, I don't think any other FF game will compare to the amazingness of that storyline. But for me, FFX was the best. I liked how they added voice acting to the game, it made everything much morerealistic and emiotional. I also thought the graphics PWNed, being the first FF game on the PS2. Finally, it was the game that brought me into the world of FF and so it will always be a special favourite.
Final Fantasy Tactics destroys all of the other Final Fantasies in depth, scope, story, characters, gameply...easily the best of them by far, and Square has yet to repeat that performance. So yeah, Final Fantasy Tactics is the best Final Fantasy of them all.
Without a doubt my favorite is ff X then ff IX then ff IIIj. No offense but i think sevens overated not that i didnt love it to.
I like ten because it brought old school ff and new school together in a new type of ff that had elements of the new and clasic final fantasys and even some new additions of its own like summon magic remaining in battle instead of attacking and flying away, and the depth of the story was simply amazing. Not to mention blitzball was much more enjoyable than those card games in 7 8 and 9 as a side game.
I liked nine because it brought the series back to its roots in a time where a bunch of new people had been brought on board by ff 7 and 8 the so called new school ffs. It gave people just starting ff with 7 and 8 a glimpse into final fantasy past. I started with 8 and 9 was a revelation for me it made me go buy origins anthology and chronicles just to experience all the older final fantasys.
IIIj well i liked that because it was such a well rounded and simple game also almost everything we take for granted in the ff series emerged from that game. like moogles like summon magic the job system which appears again in tactics and ff five. and the scope of the storyline, although like in I we never really learn much about the 4 characters personally, behind the world they lived in was incredibly deep. To find out you didnt live in the real world but on an island floating above it? and then to find out the real world has sunk into the sea. And we hear about 4 warriors of darkness. four wariors of dark instead of light who saved the world from being destroyed by overflowing light long before the four light wariors you play as try to save the world from overflowing darkness. easily one of the most underated ff games although understandble as it was never released in english why i have no Clue because it is easily one of the best rpgs ever made.
