Hi everyone
I'm hoping to complete FFX 100% for the first time and I know I'll need to customise my own weapons to be able to do this. The trouble is, I've never done the Monster Arena that much so not sure what the best customisations are and was looking for some advice! (I'm going to buy the 4 slot armour and weapons from Wantz).
For armour, I was going to customise and get everyone some armour that eats all the elements, and another one that has at least Auto-Haste, Auto-Regen and Break HP limit on it, but what else?
I would use the celestial weapons while outside the Monster Arena, but would want to customise my own for use in there, as gaining AP won't be of much significance, so it's a bit of a useless slot to have IMO.
For instance, Yuna's Nirvana has:
Break Damage Limit
Triple Overdrive
Double AP
One MP Cost
Whereas I'd rather customise a weapon to have:
Break Damage Limit
One MP Cost
Magic Booster
Magic 20%
I'm struggling to think what a good weapon would be for someone who is mainly a fighter (I know they'll all end up the same in terms of stats, but not to begin with).
I was thinking:
Break Damage Limt
Strength 20%
Counterattack
Piercing
I'm also going to customise some weapons to have Overdrive -> AP, along with Triple AP, so that I can use the Don Tonberry trick of gaining loads of AP when I do need it (although like I said, with the other monsters in the arena, AP won't be a concern for me).
Any advice would be great!
