I've kept hold of Jassu, my main defense is Botta and Judda, but in the easier games against Kilika or the Ronso, Jassu will play. He's not too bad.

Biggs is at the front on mine. He's got a good attack, but his PA is weak, so don't use him as a defender, plus he has a good shot. Never heard of anyone putting Wedge in goal though, plus Keepa is a pretty good GK if you work with him.

Plus, you don't need to replace Wakka, he leaves any way, you can resign him later on in the game. So unless you mean replace Datto with Brother...
 
Wakka was the main reason for the Aurochs suckage simply because he wasnt motivating enough. When Tidus came into the picture, everyone thought, 'hey, we can do this.'...for the one game where you dont really have control of the team.

After that, it was all on you to decide if the team would suck or not.

Also they have considerably less money available to them, compared to Luca and the Al Bhed.
Also it's a plot point, Tidus becomes the catalyst for Besaid winning.
