Um... Yeah, my PSP just totally died and won't turn on. When I bought it, it only came with a USB cable that you have to plug into your computer to charge... in order to charge it that way, it needs to be on. So I dug through my multi-DC adapters with different voltages and ends, none of them matched... but my old camera's charging adapter looks promising... But if I'm wrong, it may lead to some bad results. It's 5V, just like the PSP requests, the only thing I'm worried about is the fact it fits in the USB input on the PSP. Would I be able to plug that into the wall and have it charge through the USB cable while it's off? Or would it have to be turned on as well, it would just charge faster? Here's some pictures if you don't know what I'm talking about:

While I'm not an expert on electronics I can say that the possibility of it bursting into flames does exist and could be slightly high, so you're better off just... you know, buying a normal charger. It can't be THAT expensive.

You can buy an adapter designed for the PSP for $15 or so. I'd go with that.

I don't really want to see people destroy their PSPs, but whatever.
