The boss in the Tunnel of Famine can be very hard, and as a result, if you are an aspiring Assassin who needs help kicking his ass, I'll be glad to assist you for free. Just PM me and we can setup a time.

or you could just dope up on potions and hammer away at him until one of you runs out of potions and dies...if that person is you then go away, train a bit then try again...oh and fo the record Mooglesrule, you can't team in the tunnels...well i don't think you can

Actually, no. When The Hunter offered me help, he said that it took him and a friend three tries to beat him, so I'm sure you can form a party.

Good I was wondering that my self.
Is anyone gonna make a strategy guide for this one?

Well I can as this is my second time through as an assassin.

As moogles rule said the first time it took me and a mate to beat him but the second time I did it solo.

This isn't the have to follow guide but it is bloody useful and how I bet Hippos Melas.

Ok hes big hes nasty and he hits hard with damage over time moves and with his fists.

High evasion is your best friend aganist his normal attacks as I fought him with only 5 points evasion higher and I managed to dodge over half of his attacks. Keep your health high and watch your speed as poison will cut it while freeze will cut your defence. Keep attacking and wearing down his health but heal yourself and keep above 50% hp as much as possible. I can't stress this enough KEEP ATTACKING this guy has 1500hp and has a stack of potions that will make you swear aloud and panic but he is betable.

It isn't exactly a guide but I hope it helps, also you can join up in the tunnels as far as I know as long as your within 10 levels of each other.
